Studio Urbani

An institutional site that owes nothing to outside services.

Studio Urbani is the institutional website I built for a firm of accountants, legal auditors and labor consultants in Rome: a single landing page that gathers the firm, its services, its method and billing into one page, with contacts and the three legal documents as separate pages.

It's static and bilingual — Italian lives in the HTML, English in a JavaScript dictionary — with no build step, no external dependencies, and fonts served locally: no calls to Google Fonts, no third-party cookies. Google reviews are downloaded every night by a scheduled job and served as static data, so the visitor's browser never contacts Google directly.

The office map only loads after an explicit click, in line with the cookie policy; everything else — seven photos of the office, a carousel that stops at the first manual swipe, a copyright line whose year updates itself — is built to stay legible and maintainable without me.

  • Platform
Static site, no build step, no dependencies
  • Interface language
    Italian · English
  • Reviews
    Synced from Google every night
  • License
All rights reserved to the firm
  • Gathers the firm, its method, services and billing into a single page, lighter than the old separate ones
  • Switches between Italian and English with one click, remembering the choice and updating the title and meta description
  • Shows the average rating and latest Google reviews, refreshed nightly without the browser ever contacting Google
  • Loads the office map only after explicit consent, in line with the cookie policy
  • Runs a carousel of office photographs that stops at the first manual swipe
  • Serves fonts and icons locally, with no calls to any third-party service
